Antiquarian Book Auction

Major Wally Fraser's Collection of Military Books and Ephemera will feature in this book auction. Following on from the successful sale last year of Major Fraser's collection of military medals, badges and weapons etc. Dunbar Sloane Ltd are delighted to have the opportunity of selling his collection of military books and ephemera as part of our March/April 2012 rare book auction. Wally Fraser retired in 1983 after 37  years in the army serving in various countries including Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore. He campaigned for many years to have Wellingtons historic Fort Ballance restored and this eventually came to fruition. Without Mr Fraser's efforts the history of the fort would have been lost.
